Okay so its rare for me to cover either weddings or bar/bat mitzvahs because I am actually afraid of brides and mothers of the bar mitzvah boy. But Ezra’s Mom is a friend, a member of the same tribe and still can’t remember walking me through the JCCA in Tucson when she was a director there. This last minute shoot to help a friend is well worth it.
CRC’s lighting is very strange. It looks really bright but then fades 1.5 to 2 f-stops in a hairs breadth. So be gentle on the critiques. I tried to get this young man and his family as best I could in the time allowed (about 30 minutes on each end). So in the end I think they came out fine. We’ll see what Mom thinks of the work.
The gallery is below. I look forward to your comments.
