We came … we saw.

We saw 1,300 riders take to the street to raise over $1.25 million for cancer research.  We will see all that money stay at places like Siteman Cancer Research Center at Barnes Jewish Hospital, Washington University and St Louis Children’s Hospital.

We met some of the kids fighting cancer and who have whole teams riding for them, including one amazing group of kids who have raised over $10,000 for their classmate who can no longer dance, but whose smile still lights up the room.

We saw adults who have lost friends and family go on the ride in their memory.  Adults who in spite of fighting cancer, still train for and compete in Triathlons.   Go get em Terri.

We took a hell of a lot of photos.  I mean a lot — about 8,000 or so.  They made us laugh. They made us cry and then some of them gave us goosebumps…
