Up in Chicago this weekend and I had called the Mayor’s office to see if the lights were up and on yet on Michigan Avenue. ”Oh yes,” they tell me. Not really true. But I went out and had a splendid little walk around downtown. I met Marilyn and yes, she is wearing underwear.
