I broke up the images, some 2400 of them into separate galleries so riders could find themselves based on location.  Without a spotter it was damn near impossible to record number tags and the images don’t really afford it in most cases.

This gallery features the Wells Fargo Pioneer team led by Captain Trent Donat. Wells Fargo is a Bronze Spoke sponsor to the event and agreed to be focused and followed in depth in this year’s race.

This gallery features images from early morning at the Boone County Fairground, breakfast and the start line.

This gallery features images from just north of Stop 7 as riders work away from the Boone County Fairground. We are aboout 6 or 7 miles from the start on a gentle up slope in front of a nursing home.

This gallery features images from the Stop 3, the lunch stop at the Sunnydale Academy. Lunch was served by the students and provide by Lion’s Choice although many riders noted that because the course was so flat and fast, lunch was a bit early at 10 a.m.

This gallery features images from about a mile north and leading into Stop 4 where riders were treated to the Amish family, the Millers. They enjoyed home made ice cream, pies, water and some amazing scenery.

Finally, this last gallery captured riders coming down a nice hill about 5 miles from the finish.
